Precision Fluid Monitoring for Marine, Caravan, and Off-Grid Applications

Maintaining an accurate read on your fluid reserves is critical for peace of mind while traveling or operating off-grid. This high-quality resistive tank level sensor provides a dependable and robust solution for monitoring fuel, water, and other compatible liquids in caravans, RVs, camper trailers, and marine vessels. Featuring a vertical rod-style design, it overcomes the common pitfalls of traditional mechanical swing-arm senders, ensuring you always know your exact tank levels without the risk of stuck components or erratic readings caused by fluid slosh.

Advanced Magnetic Reed Switch Technology

At the core of this fuel or water tank level sensor is a precision magnetic reed switch mechanism. As the sealed magnetic float travels along the shaft in tandem with the changing fluid level, it activates a series of internal switches. This action delivers a highly stable and continuous 240-33 Ohm electrical output to your monitoring system. By significantly reducing the number of external moving parts, this vertical float design delivers outstanding reliability, limits mechanical wear, and heavily extends the operational lifespan of the unit compared to generic standard senders.

Built Tough for Harsh Australian Conditions

Mobile and off-grid environments demand resilient equipment. Constructed entirely from marine-grade 316 stainless steel, this tank sensor provides exceptional resistance to rust and corrosion. Whether exposed to the chemical properties of diesel and petrol or the continuous moisture of freshwater storage, the heavy-duty housing remains uncompromised. Furthermore, the electronic components are securely sealed within the head unit, achieving a strict IP67 ingress protection rating. This shields the internal circuitry from dust, heavy condensation, and moisture, maintaining an accurate signal even in extreme marine or coastal conditions.

Key Features

  • Marine-grade 316 stainless steel construction for ultimate corrosion resistance
  • Frictionless magnetic reed switch technology delivers highly precise level tracking
  • Industry-standard 240-33 Ohm resistance output, compatible with most popular analogue and digital gauges
  • IP67-rated waterproof seal prevents moisture and dust ingress
  • Simple two-wire connection (Blue: Common Negative, Black: Signal Output) for straightforward installation
  • Anti-explosion and chemical-resistant profile suitable for both fuel and water tanks

Seamless Installation and Retrofitting

Designed for straightforward top-mounting, this fuel or water sender features an integrated 1-1/4 inch BSP thread (approx. 31.8mm nominal). This allows the unit to easily screw directly into pre-tapped tank fittings, creating a secure and leak-free seal. The pre-terminated wiring harness exits through a sealed waterproof entry at the top of the sensor, ensuring your electrical connections stay dry and protected. If you are upgrading an older system or dealing with thin-walled plastic and metal tanks that lack an existing threaded port, this sensor pairs seamlessly with an optional 1-1/4 inch BSP to 5-hole flange adapter. This provides an easy retrofit solution to standard SAE or VDO 5-hole mounting patterns.

With its dedicated 150mm vertical profile, this specific model is tailored to provide maximum measurable range for matching tank depths, heavily reducing blind spots and unmonitored zones at the bottom of your reserve. This ensures you receive the most accurate data possible regarding your remaining capacity.

Secure Your Energy and Fluid Reserves

Upgrade your vehicle or vessel's monitoring system with this highly durable and accurate rod-style sender. Order your tank transducer today to ensure reliable, long-lasting fluid measurement and travel with complete confidence on your next off-grid adventure.

World War II - The Final Months
Format: Hardcover
The book takes you through the final months of World War II, focusing on eight key moments when the fighting finally came to an end. It’s not just a dry rundown of facts or battle maps — the authors do a great job of bringing the people involved to life, from famous leaders to everyday soldiers and civilians caught in the chaos. What I really liked was how the story moves around the globe, covering Europe, the Pacific, and beyond. It keeps the narrative fresh and exciting, giving a real sense of how the war unfolded on many fronts at once. Sometimes I had to pay close attention to keep up with all the locations and characters, but that only added to the feeling of being caught up in a fast-moving, gripping story rather than a history lesson. What stood out most was how it made me feel the human side of history—the fear, the relief, and the confusion as the war finally ended. It’s full of details, but it never felt boring or too technical.

The Fix
Format: Hardcover
An insightful and interesting book on how our country's first legislators try to make sense of the new and fairly short U.S. Constitution, which, being drafted by humans, was bound to be imperfect. A lack of clarity on some point might be due to the changeable nature of words themselves or to confusion or obscurity of thought by the authors. And, who were the authors? The men in the room who came up with the product or the various state conventions that approved the final product? Professor Gienapp writes well and with a fine grasp of his subject. He uses concrete examples to illustrate his main points. For example, Congressional debates over the constitutionality of a proposed federal bank, the ratification of Jay's Treaty, and even whether the Bill of Rights was to be incorporated into or simply added to the original document. Most people think of U.S. constitutional history in terms of its drafting and ratification and/or its later judicial interpretation by the Supreme Court. Here, Professor Gienapp focuses on the initial work of interpretation by the first few sessions of Congress. This book is essential reading for those interested in the U.S. Constitution and the internal architecture of our government. I think those who spend countless hours viewing frenetic talking heads say this or that about the constitutionality of some issue or another (or the nomination of a justice to the High Court) should throw their television set out the window and, instead, settle into a corner chair and calmly read this and other such thoughtful books. This one should win prizes.

Excellent Book
Format: Hardcover
Stanford University History Professor Gienapp has done an outstanding job of researching and writing this historical analysis of the interpretation of the American Constitution by America's first Congress. Professor Gienapp analyzes data primarily from Congress's problems interpreting the removable of executive officers, chartering a national bank and approval of the 1794 Treaty with Great Britain negotiated by Chief Justice John Jay, the "Jay Treaty." Gienapp shows in clear writing how Congress used records of the debates at the Constitutional Convention and State Ratification Conventions to resolve these constitutional issues. I highly recommend this book to anyone concerned with the interpretation of the American Constitution.
